After reeling off a season-high five straight wins to improve to 15-11, Orlando has quickly fallen back to earth with eight losses in its last nine games.

Point guard Darrell Armstrong, the lone remaining starter from last season's team, scored 29 points and Bo Outlaw contributed a season-high 16 and 10 rebounds for the Magic in a 100-94 loss to New Jersey on Monday.

Orlando is actually better on the road this season, splitting 18 games compared to its 7-10 home mark.

Vince Carter scored 19 points for Toronto in Tuesday's 117-89 drubbing at Washington. The Raptors have dropped three in a row and four of five since a three-game winning streak.

Toronto began the season with a promising 12-6 mark and held the top spot in the Central Division, but has dropped nine of its last 15 contests to slip four games behind first-place Indiana.

These teams have split a pair of meetings this season. Ike Austin scored 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and Mitch Richmond provided a spark off the bench with 12 points as the Wizards posted a 92-81 home victory over the Raptors on November 18.

Carter scored 23 points in the rematch on December 3, leading the Raptors to a 95-93 home win.
