Tabaracci

Tabaracci was assigned to Orlando of the International Hockey League after appearing in just one game with Atlanta. Tabaracci appeared in just one game with Atlanta, stopping 32 shots in a 4-2 loss to Dallas.

He is joining his sixth team in 11 NHL seasons, having also played for Washington, Calgary, Tampa Bay, Winnipeg and Pittsburgh. He had multiple stints with the Flames and Capitals.

Tabaracci, who will be 30 on Jan. 2, entered the season with a 92-124-30 mark and a 2.99 goals-against average in 283 NHL games. He appeared in a career-high 55 games in 1996-97 for the Lightning, going 20-25-6 with a 2.75 GAA.

Wednesday's move likely leaves goaltender of the future Marc Denis in doubt. The first-round pick in 1995 has played well this season, going 3-3-1 with a 2.66 GAA and .924 save percentage, but the 22-year-old has played in only 12 games lifetime.

Roy, a future Hall of Famer and the NHL's all-time leader in postseason victories with 110, is 10-9-2 with a 2.61 GAA and .905 save percentage during his 15th NHL season.

Donovan was assigned to Orlando of the International Hockey League after joining his third NHL team since debuting in 1994-95.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder never has established himself after being picked 28th overall by San Jose in 1993. He has one goal in 19 games this season and 38 goals and 36 assists in 315 games lifetime.
