SALT LAKE CITY (AP) _ Natalie Williams scored 21 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead the Utah Starzz to an 89-80 WNBA victory over the Sacramento Monarchs Monday night.

The teams were tied at 29 at halftime. In the second half, Utah led by as much as 13 points before Sacramento closed to within four with just over two minutes remaining.

Utah center Margo Dydek had a block and two free throws at the 1:49 mark to give the Starzz an eight point lead that they never relinquished.

Dydek and Adrienne Goodson each had 19 points for the Starzz (8-7). Korie Hlede added 16 points.

Sacramento (8-5) was led by Ruthie Bolton-Holifiel 25 points and five steals. Yolanda Griffith had 19 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out. Tangela Smith had 18 points and also fouled out.

Utah shot 52 percent from the field and 93 percent from the line to compensate for 20 turnovers.

The game was played before 5,275 fans at the Delta Center.
